Job Details: Job Location: Campus - Cortland, NY, Salary Range: $16.80 - $17.25Hourly, Tuesday-Thursday 10:00am-7:00pmFriday 7:00am-3:30pmSaturday 10:00am-5:00pm40 hours/weekPhysical RequirementsLift 10 lb. routinelyStand for entire shiftStoop, bend, push, pull throughout a shiftLift 30 lb. occasionallyDutiesTake proper food and equipment temperatures.Responsible for courteous serving and safe preparation of food and beverages in a retail or residentialdining location.Follows all food sanitation procedures to ensure that food and beverage are safe for customer to consume.Assembles orders according to customer requests or batch production. Uses a variety of equipmentincluding dough press, ovens, fryers, and warmers. Assembly boxes and prepare items for delivery or takeout. Restocks all products to ensure availability for customers. Assist with counting inventory andrecording product on hand. Inspects holding items for presentation and quality and removes if found pastthe prime shelf life or expiration.Assists in other areas with food preparation duties as needed.Cleans and sanitizes work surfaces and customer dining and service areas, dish ware, utensils floors,equipment including break down and reassembly periodically. Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean,sanitize and polish. Removes trash. May secure facilities at the end of service.Takes ownership for the workstation utilizing student employee support.Any duties as assigned based on business needs.Qualifications: QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent PreferredSkillsComputing skills to make cash change, take inventory, create # of pieces for a portion by performingadding, subtracting, multiplication and divisionAbility to read on a level to comprehend product labels, recipes and safety instructionsAbility to interact with customers, coworkers, and vendors in a diplomatic mannerAbility to work effectively as a team memberAbility to perform routine tasks that are directed to the workstation.
