Description:

TheQuality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, andoutbound shipments meet Client’s quality standards and customer requirementswithin the Costa Mesa operation. This role supports quality activities acrosswarehousing and logistics operations, panel board manufacturing, and theproduction line responsible for equipment dismantling and rework activities.The Quality Auditor performs in-process inspections, final product audits,shipping validations, and process compliance reviews while partnering withOperations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and SupplyChain teams to drive quality excellence.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

Productand Process Quality Audits

·        Performin-process, final product, and outbound shipment inspections to ensurecompliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and operationalrequirements.

·        Conductquality audits on panel board manufacturing processes, warehouse operations,and equipment dismantling activities.

·        Utilizeinspection tools including calipers, pin gauges, height indicators, measuringdevices, and other quality instruments to verify product conformance.

·        Reviewand interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, control plans,and work instructions to validate product requirements.

·        Inspectconsolidated pallets, customer orders, and outbound shipments for accuracy,quality, labelling, packaging, and special customer requirements.

·        Identify,document, and contain non-conforming materials or products.

QualitySystem Compliance

·        Conductprocess audits and verify compliance with established quality procedures,manufacturing standards, and operational work instructions.

·        Supportimplementation and effectiveness reviews of quality controls, includingpoka-yoke devices, error-proofing measures, and process controls.

·        Partnerwith Quality Engineers and Operations teams to improve inspection plans, auditprocedures, and quality documentation.

·        Assistin maintaining inspection records, audit reports, and quality documentation inaccordance with company and customer requirements.

ContinuousImprovement

·        Prepareand communicate inspection findings, audit results, and quality trends tomanagement and operational teams.

·        Collaboratewith Continuous Improvement teams to identify root causes of defects andprocess inefficiencies.

·        Recommendcorrective actions, tooling improvements, and process enhancements to improveproduct quality and operational performance.

·        Supportadoption of digital quality tools and technologies to streamline inspections,reporting, and data analysis.

·        Participatein continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improvingfirst-pass yield, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Measurementand Data Analysis

·        Supportcapability studies, measurement system analysis, and Gage Repeatability &Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.

·        Collect,analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends and opportunities forimprovement.

·        Performrandom audits and layered process audits to assess ongoing process performance.

Supplierand Customer Quality Support

·        Performsupplier quality inspections as required.

·        Verifycompliance with customer-specific requirements and special orders.

·        Supportcustomer complaint investigations and corrective action activities as needed.

·        Assistwith internal and external audits when required.

AdditionalResponsibilities

·        Maintaina safe and organized work environment in accordance with company safetyrequirements.

·        Supportcross-functional teams with quality-related projects and initiatives.

·        Performadditional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

RequiredQualifications

·        HighSchool Diploma or GED required.

·        Minimum1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, quality auditing, manufacturing,warehouse operations, or a related field.

·        Experienceusing precision measuring tools including calipers, pin gauges, heightindicators, and other inspection equipment.

·        Abilityto read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications,symbols, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

·        Proficientwith Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.

·        Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.

·        Abilityto document findings accurately and prepare professional audit reports.

·        Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·        Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PreferredQualifications

·        Experiencein electrical equipment manufacturing, panel board assembly, warehouselogistics, or industrial production environments.

·        Knowledgeof Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Quality ManagementSystems.

·        Experienceconducting process audits, capability studies, and Gage R&R studies.

·        Familiaritywith ERP, MES, or digital quality systems.

·        Understandingof customer quality requirements and corrective action methodologies.

WorkEnvironment

·        Thisposition works across multiple operational environments including warehouse andlogistics operations, panel board manufacturing production lines, and equipmentdismantling/rework areas.

·        TheQuality Auditor regularly interfaces with hourly associates, supervisors,engineers, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with quality standards andcustomer expectations.
