Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

 

  • Assists with pre-procedure education and preparing patients for procedure.
  • Collaborates with other staff to assure the patient has a thorough understanding of procedure and is able to answer questions as needed.
  • Assures the patient is positioned properly for the procedure.
  • Assures EKG electrodes are properly placed and cardiac electrodes correctly applied
  • Assures skin is prepped and sterilized appropriately prior to procedural draping
  • Sets up patient and sterile equipment in accordance to the performing physician’s preferences.

Required

  • Medical Radiographer: NE, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
