Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Transportation Coordinator.

 

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch trucks/trailers for on-time deliveries and pickups
  • Update and provide tracking information to customers and internal personnel
  • Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns and progress to management
  • Analyze transportation costs and recommend most cost effective methods
  • Manage quoting process with outside haulers
  • Apply for permits for internal drivers
  • Accurate invoicing internal and external

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Previous dispatching/coordinating experience
  • Familiarity with DOT hauling regulations
  • Proficient software skills
  • Positive outlook, proactive communications skills, and high level of self-motivation
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work in fast paced team environment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Bachelor Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience acceptable to the company
