About the role:

Perry, Ohio

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Projects, the Project Scheduler maintains project schedules. These schedules cover multiple disciplines and create for both online and outage implementation windows, supporting the Long-Range Plan. You will archive project schedules after completion of the project. Scheduling responsibilities will include scoping of scheduled work, scheduling of equipment, materials and onsite/offsite resources, and resource leveling in the most efficient and cost-effective manner within assigned organizations and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop schedules for online and outages following fleet/station standards.
  • Work with other work groups/vendors (onsite and offsite) to identify and collect necessary information to support schedule development and quality.
  • Coordinate activities of site work groups, site organization, or vendors through and into the project schedule, providing scheduling support.
  • Coordinate activities to minimize equipment/system out of service time and Technical Specification Action Conditions and to minimize plant risk.
  • Communicate schedule issues/conflicts promptly to the Site Manager of Projects and the Project Manager.
  • Attend project team member meetings and reports out on the schedule.
  • Support the development and updating of the Project Health Reports (PHRs) in preparation for the Project Review Committee (PRC) meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
  • Experience with nuclear operation and processes.
