Summer Intern - Civil / Structural Engineering

About the role:

As a Civil or Structural Engineering Intern, you will support engineering and procurement activities associated with nuclear power plant structures, modules, and construction projects.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support engineering analysis and design documentation
• Help with structural evaluations and calculations
• Support supplier and contractor coordination activities
• Participate in project reviews and planning
• Help develop technical reports and presentations
• Support procurement and manufacturing projects
• Collaborate with project teams

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Interest in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
• Proficiency in engineering and productivity software

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
