WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Perform delegated patient care procedures keeping in mind the age specific needs of the patient.

• Assist in the preparation of units, patient rooms and beds.

• Greet all outpatients and prepares them to be seen by RN and Physician by removing Wound dressings, taking VS, and photography.

• Transfer patient and assist physicians and Wound Care RN in outpatient Wound and Vascular Center.

• Assist RN in Hydrotherapy by preparing equipment and patient; clean whirlpool tanks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED

• 3 years Patient Care Assistant Preferred

• 1 year Wound Care Preferred

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Indiana or Illinois
