  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of HR projects from planning through to implementation.
  • Conduct and/or oversee job grading and job evaluation processes.
  • Review job descriptions, organisational structures and reporting lines.
  • Provide specialist advice on job grading methodologies and appropriate grading outcomes.
  • Conduct HR analysis and make recommendations aligned with organisational requirements.
  • Support the development and review of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
  • Provide guidance on organisational design and workforce structures.
  • Engage with management and relevant stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations and recommendations for management.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation and records.
  • Provide expert HR advice on matters relating to remuneration structures, job evaluation, employee relations and people practices, where applicable.
  • Ensure that HR project activities comply with applicable legislation, professional standards and organisational requirements.


  • Requirements

  • NQF Level 7 or NQF Level 8 qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Development, Organisational Development or another relevant HR-related discipline.
  • An Honours, Postgraduate Diploma or Master's qualification will be advantageous.
  • Equivalent relevant qualifications will be considered.
  • More than 10 years' relevant HR experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior HR management, specialist, consulting or project leadership role.
  • Demonstrable experience in job grading and/or job evaluation is essential.
  • Experience across multiple HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, organisational development and labour-law compliance.
  • Professional registration with SARA/SABPP or another recognised and relevant professional body will be required/advantageous,
  • Where applicable, candidates with an Industrial/Organisational Psychology qualification should hold the appropriate professional registration for their field.
