Our client, a short-term insurance brokerage based in Pretoria East, is looking for a qualified Marketing professional to drive brand awareness and new business growth, with particular focus on the heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) and transport sector. The role combines traditional relationship-based marketing with digital and campaign work, and would suit a creative self-starter who is comfortable working independently and building relationships within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned to the brokerage's growth targets, with a focus on the HCV and commercial vehicle market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport, fleet and commercial vehicle sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with fleet owners, dealerships, industry bodies and referral partners
- Represent the business at industry events, expos, trade shows and networking opportunities
- Manage the brokerage's social media presence, website content and digital campaigns
- Create marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, proposals and email campaigns
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform positioning, product messaging and pricing input
- Support the broking and sales team with lead generation, campaign material and follow-up activity
- Track and report on campaign performance, lead conversion and return on marketing spend
- Maintain the CRM and marketing database accurately and in line with POPIA requirements
- Coordinate with external designers, printers, media partners and agencies
- Ensure all marketing and advertising material complies with FAIS and insurer requirements
- Assist with client retention, cross-selling and referral initiatives
