Dream Nannies is matching a fantastic family in Cumming, GA, with a dedicated Nanny to work one-on-one with their sweet 3-year-old boy. Offering $27 - $30hr for a Monday-through-Friday daytime schedule, this is a deeply rewarding opportunity to become an integral part of his growth, development, and everyday routine. We are looking for an initiative-driven caregiver who can provide gentle consistency and hands-on support as he blossoms.
The family is looking for someone who is deeply caring, patient, engaging, and hands-on, while also being confident setting appropriate boundaries and remaining consistent with them in a gentle, positive way. They would love a nanny who can create a safe and encouraging environment where their son can thrive while providing the structure and routine he needs.
Their son is currently nonverbal and participates in both occupational and speech therapy. The ideal nanny will be comfortable learning and implementing his therapists' recommendations and activities throughout his day, helping reinforce the skills he is working on in a fun and natural way. Experience with developmental needs, speech delays, OT, or similar support is a fantastic plus, but a patient caregiver who is eager to learn and collaborate with his parents and therapy team is equally important.
You will also help with developmental milestones such as potty training and transitioning from a bottle to a sippy cup, using consistency, encouragement, and gentle redirection. A few days each week, the nanny will accompany him to preschool to provide additional one-on-one support. Responsibilities will also include preschool pickup, transportation to swim lessons, speech/OT appointments, and other activities, as well as planning engaging, age-appropriate play and outings.
The family would love to find someone dependable, self-starting, communicative, and genuinely invested in building a strong bond with their son. Above all, they are looking for someone who will celebrate his progress, encourage his independence, and provide the consistency and encouragement he needs to flourish.
