Housekeeping Inspector

Summary

Inspect cleanliness in guest room or suites after room attendant has cleaned the room. Assure the room meets the hotel standards. Maintain professional communication with staff and the front desk. Report maintenance issues. Resolve guest issues properly with care and effectiveness.  Assist with cleaning, laundry, inventory, etc. as requested. Monitor cleanliness in other areas of the hotel. Must be able to walk throughout the 8 hour shift.

Skills/Requirements

•    Cleaning experience required

•    Prior supervisory experience preferred or customer service

•    Excellent verbal and nonverbal skills 

•    Ability to resolve problems professionally

•    Genuine enjoyment cleaning 

•    Must be available some weekends and holidays
