Responsibilities
1. Determines eligibility for program participation using established criteria.2. Computes income information to determine service level of eligible clients.
3. Forwards completed application materials to business office for payment.
4. Assesses client needs for external programs and makes appropriate program referrals.
5. Assists clients with the achievement of short and long-term needs in a supportive, cost-effective manner.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Training:Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program. Two (2) years of work related experience or thirty (30) hours from an accredited college or university in a job related field of study or combination of the two.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, with a good driving record.
JUVENILE: Must pass an extensive background investigation. Mandatory drug testing prior to employment and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Standard office environment. Ability to travel to various work site locations.
Juvenile: This position may be located within a secured facility.
