Director of Remarketing

Job Description

Turn Retired Fleet Into Revenue, Nationwide.

Every vehicle that leaves the Fox fleet has a story about value, timing, and channel strategy, and this role gets to write that story for the entire country. As Director of Remarketing, you will set the national strategy for how Fox disposes of retired fleet vehicles, lead the team turning that strategy into results, and be accountable when price and speed of sale hit target every month. Based in the Dallas area with a hybrid schedule, this role puts you at the center of national auction and partner relationships, with travel required as needed.

Your Primary Focus Is To:

• Strategic Oversight: Lead remarketing services for all Fox Rent A Car vehicles across the United States.
• Team Leadership: Direct and develop Regional Auction Managers handling auction sales and direct dealer sales.
• Partner Liaison: Act as primary contact for third-party remarketing business partners.
• Channel Management: Drive vehicle disposal strategies across direct, auction, digital, and upstream channels.
• Performance Accountability: Own performance results for price achieved and speed of sale across all channels.
• KPI Management: Establish, monitor, and achieve monthly disposition targets and specific performance metrics.
• Market Analytics: Utilize AutoIMS and Manheim market data to guide residual value forecasting and used vehicle pricing.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage and streamline transportation logistics tied directly to vehicle disposition.
• Operational Multitasking: Simultaneously manage multiple concurrent disposal channels and external partner relationships.

Education & Experience:

• Degree Requirement: A college degree is a plus but not required.
• Equivalency: Proven hands-on industry experience is highly valued over formal education.
• Industry Experience: Required remarketing experience in fleet, commercial business, lease, or OEM sectors.
• Rental Car Focus: Previous rental car remarketing experience handling multiple states and auctions is highly valued.

We're Looking For:

• Software: Proficient in AutoIMS.
• Data Analysis: Highly skilled in Manheim market data, residual forecasting, and used vehicle pricing.
• Logistics: Direct experience managing transportation and vehicle logistics.
• Leadership: Strong people management capability with a track record of leading a team.
• Relationships: Advanced negotiation skills and corporate relationship management experience.
• Execution: Comfortable operating in a high-performance, KPI-driven environment.
