This position contributes to the overall success of the not-for-profit charitable operations by ensuring that goods are prepared for sale in a timely and organized manner, ultimately helping to fund programs that benefit the community.Key Responsibilities:- Operate rolling machines to process donated textiles and other materials for resale.- Sort and categorize items according to established guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.- Conduct quality checks on processed items to ensure they meet organizational standards.- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording processed goods.- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe workplace.- Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on best practices and organizational policies.Qualifications: Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalentRequired Experience:- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred- Experience working with machinery or equipment is advantageousRequired Skills and Abilities:- Ability to operate and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently- Strong attention to detail and quality control- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating production materials
