Associate, Operational Risk Assessments TeamÂ
The Operational Risk Assessment Execution team within Operational Risk is responsible for developing and implementing a standardized framework to identify, measure, monitor, and assess operational risk across the firm. The Associate will support the execution, enhancement, and strategic evolution of the firm’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program. Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Support the execution of business-as-usual (BAU) RCSA activities, including assessment planning, stakeholder coordination, and tracking completion against established timelinesÂ
- Analyze assessment outputs, risk data, and control information to identify trends and areas requiring management attentionÂ
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and management materials that provide insight into the firm’s operational risk profile and assessment resultsÂ
- Partner with stakeholders across the firm to support assessment execution and ongoing program enhancementsÂ
- Contribute to the development and implementation of assessment strategy initiatives, methodology enhancements, and process improvementsÂ
- Support regulatory, audit, and remediation initiatives related to the operational risk assessment frameworkÂ
- Manage and coordinate project deliverables associated with key assessment and framework uplift initiativesÂ
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on assessment requirements, standards, and supporting toolsÂ
QualificationsÂ
- 3-5 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related financial services roleÂ
- Basic understanding of operational risk management frameworks and risk assessment methodologies, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret risk and control data to identify meaningful insightsÂ
- Experience supporting framework enhancements or process improvementsÂ
- Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate deliverables across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPointÂ
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and intellectually curious, with a desire to understand different areas of the firm and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the operational risk programÂ
- Bachelor’s degree requiredÂ
