Are highly reliable and responsible. You have excellent attendance and consistently meet goals and metrics. Bring a positive and respectful attitude every day, while working independently and as a part of a team. Want to be coached and given feedback to become their best self. Are interested in developing their career! Many of our leaders started out in entry-level positions. Are physically able to work 8 hours a day, standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 30 pounds, while keeping your body in constant motion. Candidates with military and/or veteran status are encouraged to apply.QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Diplomatic leadership skills in managing personnel Able to provide insights and analysis in team dynamics Ability to coach and provide guidance to team on managing workload and processes Ability to interpret instructions and convey these to team as assigned duties Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment with shifting goals Excellent time management and ability to focus on department and company goals Must be able to pay attention to detail Must have good organizational skills and able to follow instructions orally/written Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (primarily Outlook and Excel) All candidates must be willing to authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screening. You’ll stay active throughout your entire shift in our fast-paced warehouse environment and will monitor production reports ensuring hourly KPI’s are met and/or exceeded. We welcome feedback from our team members as we strive for the highest standards and reward our best employees.WHAT YOU'LL DO: Oversee the performance of department tasks to ensure customer satisfaction Manage, track, and prioritize route orders for shipping of books and/or merchandise Resolve any department issues, including those related to shipping orders Oversee Shipping employees during daily operations Ensure staff is meeting their established production standards Communicate with and support the Shipping team and processing center management Ongoing collaboration with Trainers on employees’ performance, address concerns with employee and managers Facilitate continual learning and performance for individual employees Follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines of ThriftBooks Other duties as assigned
