- Perform assigned duties specific to the operational needs of the operating department where the internship is performed.
- Communicate effectively with department mentor and departmental staff.
- Perform specific tasks under the guidance of staff to support program activities.
- Ensure that punctuality is an essential function of the job.
- Provide feedback at the end of the internship to coordinator to help improve the internship program.
- Demonstrate the following core values: trustworthiness, responsibility, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- High School Student.
- Must be able to work 19 hours a week during 6-8 week internship.
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions in written and verbal form.
- Demonstrates ability to perform responsibilities under direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow documentation such as safety procedures, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
