Job Description:

2026-2027 School Year | Part-Time & Full-Time | Texas | School-Based | TX SLP License Required

About the Role:聽Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Multiple Locations in Texas.

What You'll Do:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 One year of experience in speech therapy (clinical fellows welcome)

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Department of Education certification

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with school-based caseload management
