Job Description :

Goal – collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, educators, and simulationists to deliver high-quality simulation experiences across a broad spectrum of clinical specialties and learner levels.

Qualification – Intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing or allied health degree program through a university or college

Period – university semester, may continue subsequent semesters

Skills required:

  • Strong academic record and demonstrated commitment to nursing or allied health education, patient safety, and clinical excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learner audiences
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with standard office technology and willingness to learn simulation-specific platforms and AV systems
  • Commitment to an average of 10 hours per week for the duration


Description:
The student intern serves as a contributor to a hospital-based, interdisciplinary medical simulation program that supports Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD), Graduate Medical Education (GME), and Allied Health training initiatives. This internship provides the student with immersive, hands-on experience in healthcare simulation education, curriculum design, facilitation, debriefing, and program operations.
