Job Details: Job Location: Headquarters - Danbury, CT, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $100000.00 - $110000.00Salary/year, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Health Care, Regional Hospice is looking for a full-time (Mon-Fri) Nursing Manager for our 12 Bed Center for Comfort Care and Healing inpatient facility.The Nursing Manager is responsible for the supervision and coordination of comprehensive hospice services to adult & pediatric patients and families who are receiving care in the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. The Nursing Manager is accountable for ensuring that qualified, competent staff provides interdisciplinary, coordinated care to patients and caregivers 24 hours a day. He/she is responsible for the quality care provided to our patients and families, as well compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies, and costs related to clinical care needs with collaboration of the APRN Administrator.Qualifications: BSN along with current CT RN license required Must have clinical expertise and the ability to interface with medical community Hospice experience required Experience with pediatrics (serious or life-limiting illnesses, focusing on comfort and quality of life) also required Hospice and palliative care (CHPN) certification preferred. Prior nursing supervisory experience required (nursing supervisor, nurse manager, etc) Position also requires good written and oral communication skills, with ability to work in variety of environments
