The Role
Our site in Danbury, CT is seeking a Production Planner – SDS & VAC to support supply planning and production scheduling activities across SDS and VAC product lines, supporting operations in North America and Korea. Â

This role focuses on translating demand into executable supply plans, maintaining accurate planning data in SAP, and supporting alignment between demand, capacity, and production execution to meet customer and business requirementsÂ

The position works cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Service to maintain schedule stability, resolve constraints, and support effective execution in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Â

What You’ll DoÂ
End-to-End Supply & Capacity PlanningÂ
Support supply planning activities for SDS and VAC across North America and KoreaÂ
Translate demand requirements into production and supply plans that balance service, inventory, capacity, and costÂ
Maintain constrained supply plans in SAP IBP over an 18-month horizon, with alignment to SAP ECC for executionÂ
Apply MRP, master scheduling, and inventory management fundamentals to build achievable supply plansÂ
S&OP & Capacity Planning SupportÂ
Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process through data preparation, analysis, and plan updatesÂ
Maintain and validate work center capacity assumptions in collaboration with Operations and EngineeringÂ
Utilize capacity requirements planning (CRP) and rough-cut capacity analysis to identify gaps and support decision-makingÂ
Production Planning, Scheduling & ERP ExecutionÂ
Maintain production schedules to ensure alignment with demand and capacity plans Â
Update and support ERP master data and planning parameters (MRP type, lead times, lot sizes, routings, BOMs) to ensure accurate system Â
Monitor planning signals, exception messages, and system outputs to identify risks and required actionsÂ
Perform data analysis using SAP and Excel to support planning decisions and issue resolutionÂ
Capacity Monitoring & Issue ResolutionÂ
Monitor work center loading and highlight over- and under-capacity conditionsÂ
Support mitigation actions such as overtime, sequencing adjustments, and material alignmentÂ
Escalate constraints related to labor, equipment, and materials to appropriate stakeholders Â
Cross-Functional & Cross-Regional CoordinationÂ
Coordinate with teams across North America and Korea to align supply plans and schedulesÂ
Work with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Service to resolve material shortages and scheduling issues Â
Participate in cross-functional meetings to review supply risks, priorities, and actions Â
Supply Commitments, Inventory & PerformanceÂ
Support alignment of supply commitments and delivery timelines with stakeholdersÂ
Monitor inventory health, service levels, and planning KPIs, including schedule adherence and on-time shipment performanceÂ
Assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions for service or planning gapsÂ
Process & Continuous ImprovementÂ
Follow defined planning and scheduling processes, including planning cycles and exception management Â
Support improvements to planning, scheduling, and capacity management processesÂ
Maintain documentation of planning workflows and system inputsÂ
What We Seek:Â
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Â
3+ years of progressive experience in supply planning, production planning, or manufacturing operations. Â
Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Â
Demonstrated experience in capacity‑constrained, multi‑site planning environments. Â
Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Â
Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Â
Ability to support global coordination across time zones as business needs require.Â

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:Â
Experience supporting global supply chains, including North America and Asia. Â
 Demonstrated leadership in S&OP, capacity planning, and constrained planning. Â
 Proven ability to drive cross‑functional alignment and action‑oriented outcomes. Â
Experience with scenario modeling and long‑range (12–18 month) planning. Â
Exposure to semiconductor, advanced materials, or high‑mix manufacturing environments. Â
Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate effective planning and decision forums.Â

Compensation: $72,000 to $90,000 range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
