Duties include: Assisting customers in selecting specialty food items by providing detailed product information and recommendations. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of cheeses and specialty foods, ensuring freshness and quality. Conduct regular inventory checks to manage stock levels and assist with restocking as needed. Collaborate with team members to create promotional displays and participate in special events or tastings. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and culinary techniques to enhance customer engagement. Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace, adhering to all health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the food industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A genuine interest in gourmet foods, culinary arts, or nutrition is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
