As a Fire & Security Installation Assistant, you'll gain hands-on experience installing fire alarms, security systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and network cabling for commercial and industrial facilities—all while receiving the training and mentorship needed to grow into a licensed technician. About the Role The Fire & Security Installation Assistant works alongside an experienced Lead Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial fire alarm, security, camera, and access control systems. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop technical skills, earn an Ohio Fire Alarm License, and build a long-term career in the fire and security industry. QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Dependable and safety-focused Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Job Duties: Assist with the installation and service of commercial fire alarm systems Help install and troubleshoot security systems, surveillance cameras, and access control equipment Install and support network and fiber optic cabling Learn proper installation techniques and industry best practices from experienced technicians Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently Test systems to verify proper operation before project completion Maintain accurate documentation including labor, materials, and service records Attend training sessions and technical meetings to continue developing your skills Work toward obtaining and maintaining your Ohio Fire Alarm License Represent the company professionally while providing outstanding customer service Benefits: FREE Training and Education PTO 401(k) match Bonus Program Competitive Medical, Vision, and Dental Health Savings Account match Company paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Company paid Life Insurance Policy We value our employees and are committed to doing everything possible to ensure your continued growth and opportunities!
