Overview
RMS is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer – DICOM to support and enhance our medical imaging infrastructure. This role ensures reliable image routing, system performance, and data integrity across our PACS and healthcare IT systems. You’ll collaborate with radiology, IT, and clinical teams to maintain high availability and support mission-critical imaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain DICOM systems, routing, and integrations
  • Troubleshoot imaging and system workflow issues across PACS and modalities
  • Lead onboarding of new imaging sites and systems
  • Ensure compliance through system updates, security, and documentation
  • Collaborate across departments and vendors to support imaging infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience with DICOM/PACS systems
  • Strong knowledge of DICOM standards, HL7, FHIR, and imaging workflows
  • Experience with Windows/Linux systems and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
  • CIIP certification or Laurel Bridge experience is a plus
