The job involves assisting teams in developing and executing functional safety verification and validation (V&V) strategies to create a comprehensive Safety Case.
You will collaborate with Ford Connected Vehicle Software and supplier engineering teams to identify and address safety-related process gaps.
The role requires the development of a Functional Safety V&V capability maturity plan with engineering stakeholders.
There are two positions available, with one focusing on AI tools and software, while the other emphasizes verification and validation plans and methods.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000.

What you'll do...

You will assist teams in the development and execution of functional safety V&V strategies and their work products to develop a comprehensive Safety Case.

You will work with Ford Connected Vehicle Software and Product Data Integrity, and supplier engineering teams to identify safety related process and work product gaps and recommend best practice solutions.

You will develop a FuSa V&V capability maturity plan working with engineering stakeholders.

You will report to the Director of the Office of Functional Safety Assurance (OFSA).
