Job Summary
Safe Space Residential Homes is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing support within our Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU). The LPN will administer medications, monitor client health, document care, respond to medical concerns, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support client recovery and safety. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, monitoring for medication side effects, assisting with medical appointments, and ensuring compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, HIPAA, and Virginia Board of Nursing standards. Your work load will be smaller than the nursing home setting. You will work alongside an Interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a behavioral health environment while promoting person-centered and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications
- Ā Current Virginia LPN license in good standingĀ
- Current First Aid CertificationĀ
- Current BLS Provider
- Ā Strong communication and patient care skillsĀ
- Ā Ability to recognize medical or psychiatric emergenciesĀ
- Ā Valid driverās license preferredĀ
- Ā Behavioral health or crisis stabilization experience preferred but not required.
