•   Support safe diagnosis and restoration of motors, variable-frequency drives, motor controls, power distribution, sensors, transmitters, control valves and associated wiring and communications.
•   Interpret drawings, P&IDs, instrument data sheets, ladder logic and control-system diagnostics.
•   Define repair strategies, test requirements and return-to-service criteria, and remain engaged through verification of equipment performance.
•   Coordinate with Operations, process control, engineering, vendors and craft personnel when problems cross equipment or system boundaries.
•   Support improvement/optimization projects; partner with vendors and support Maintenance obsolescence reduction initiatives
INSTRUMENTATION & PROCESS CONTROL
•   Provide engineering support for pressure, level, flow, temperature and analytical measurement systems and their associated sensing elements, transmitters and final control elements.
•   Support control-valve diagnostics, sizing review, positioners, actuators, accessories, calibration and performance improvement.
•   Apply experience with industry-leading OEM equipment and platforms, including Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley control systems, Fisher control valves and Rosemount measurement devices, or equivalent technologies.
•   Support PLC troubleshooting, online diagnostics, minor logic modifications and program documentation within approved change-control practices.
•   Support selected DCS troubleshooting, graphics, alarm, interlock, loop and configuration work in partnership with site process-control resources and approved system owners.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS & RELIABILITY
•   Provide technical support for low- and medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, motors, motor-control centers, protective devices, grounding and industrial electrical equipment.
•   Assist with electrical and instrumentation failure investigations and root-cause analysis, including recurring faults, nuisance trips, instrument drift and control-loop performance issues.
•   Use maintenance history, condition-monitoring information and field observations to improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
•   Provide input to critical-equipment, obsolescence, spare-parts and reliability opportunity reviews.
•   Support electrical safety, arc-flash, hazardous-area, grounding, calibration and applicable code or engineering-standard compliance.
PROCEDURES, CONFIGURATION & WORK QUALITY
•   Develop and sustain technical procedures, Standard Practices, job plans, calibration instructions, test records and checklists for E/I maintenance work.
•   Provide technical review during procedure creation and revision and ensure instructions reflect current equipment, configuration and safety requirements.
•   Maintain accurate control narratives, setpoints, logic documentation, device configuration, drawings and bills of material.
•   Initiate or support the applicable Management of Change process for logic, setpoint, control strategy, electrical design, instrumentation or equipment changes.
•   Improve SAP equipment records and bills of material to support planning, troubleshooting and reliable execution.
PROJECTS, TURNAROUNDS & IMPROVEMENT
•   Provide maintenance and reliability input to capital projects involving electrical, instrumentation, automation and process-control systems.
•   Develop E/I turnaround scopes and support planning, execution, commissioning and closeout activities.
•   Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, loop checks, functional testing and commissioning as assigned.
•   Evaluate repair, replacement, standardization and modernization options using risk, lifecycle cost, maintainability and obsolescence considerations.
•   Identify and implement improvements that reduce repeat failures, improve control performance and strengthen craft troubleshooting capability.
