Purpose/Objective of the Role:

  • The Human Resources Department is seeking a Student Worker to assist with front desk operations. 
  • The Student Worker will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty in a professional and courteous manner. 
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel. 
  • Assist students and employees in completing their new hire paperwork and I-9 documentation. 
  • Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry. 
  • Pickup and Distribute mail and manage office supplies inventory. 
  • Support departmental projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
