Student Worker – Floor Associate

Number of Openings: 16

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

Welcome all to The 1842. Taking care of The 1842 by removing trash, cleaning up spills, setting up games/activities, and reporting problems that may arise.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Provide welcoming atmosphere
Empty trash and recycling cans when they become full
Clean up spills of beverage and food
Dispose of trash and wipe down tables in between uses
Provide tv channel changes when requested
Help in completing opening and closing tasks
Once an hour bathroom and patio checks for tidiness
Helping to set up, run, and tear down special events
Report of equipment that is broken or not functioning as intended
Report any actions or incidents that jeopardize student safety, damage property, or are unlawful that occur on the grounds of the facility
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

Willingness to work with others
Good communication skills
Available to work nights and weekends

Potential Future Career Benefit:

Hospitality experience
Working in group settings

NOTE:
