Student Worker – Stockroom Assistant

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
- Assist the Chemistry Lab Manager with inventory and supplies for teaching labs
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Receive department safety training at the start of the semester.
- See Dr. Grunkemeyer for details.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including those for eye protection and dress.
- You will be assisting the stockroom manager and assigned tasks may include:
- Preparing the lab rooms.
- Preparing solutions and equipment.
- Preparing unknowns.
- Disposing of waste chemicals.
- Checking, maintaining, and updating inventory lists.
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed one year of CHEM 110/111 before applying for this position.
