Forklift Driver-2nd shift

Job Details: Job Location: Denton, TX - Denton, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Swing, Under general supervision, supports production and maintenance by maintaining an accurate material inventory in the computer system and on paper. Accurately maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, and conduct cycle counts daily. Strict Inventory Control Procedures will be adhered to. This position involves the operation of electric and propane powered industrial vehicles (Tow Motors). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin. Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer system - Process materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags. - Pull the appropriate material and transfer to required location - Conduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned area - Load and unload trailers and flatbeds as required - Resolve inventory discrepancies  - Perform as a Class A Driver - Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product   Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS Mechanically adept Attention to detail Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands Good communication skills Computer literate Able to read all precision measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret specifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or equivalent  LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to write reports in the English language   Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors and/or managers in the English language MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages   Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists   Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form      Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions   Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.    While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; climbing stairs, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear The Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds WORK ENVIRONMENT and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
