Job Summary

Focus on quality improvement through inspection, audit, investigation, and reporting the quality of materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance with quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform random and scheduled work-in-process inspections. (Including Quality Management System).
  • Perform dock audits on the finished product as needed.
  • Assist in the investigation and root cause elimination of customer complaints.
  • Assist in the disposition, control, and maintenance of non-conforming material.
  • Enter quality data into computerized business information systems.
  • Use tape measures, steel rules, calipers, pin gauges, and other inspection tools as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training
  • Exposure to warehouse management systems
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to drive continuous improvement processes and standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
