We are looking for a team member with experience in groundwater monitoring well drilling and installation observation, lithologic logging, driller management, as well as geologic reporting and well permitting tasks. This position will also include periodic assistance with groundwater sampling, landfill gas probe monitoring, other media sampling and/or monitoring, general reporting and other field or office tasks as needed. The position is salaried with bonus opportunity and the work hours are targeting 45-50 hours per week, working approximately 20-30% in the field , with periodic out of town or out of state travel required based on drilling and/or field sampling schedules. This position requires 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in the solid waste industry. Responsibilities: Provide field oversight of various drilling projects, including lithologic logging, monitoring well installation observation, driller management Provide periodic assistance with groundwater sampling or other field projects, as needed Champion quality and demonstrate leadership by personal high standards for work processes and products, and exemplary service to clients Prepare technical reports to a high quality to meet internal and client requirements Support fellow project team members by learning to manage tasks on behalf of senior management in a responsible and responsive manner Be open to professional development and growth potential opportunities including training in a variety of technical and project management areas and mentoring from senior staff Core Competencies: Attention to detail and organization Strong communication skills – both written and verbal Strong technical writing skills Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, if needed Ability to work extended hours for consecutive days, if needed Ability for overnight travel Adhere to corporate and industry safety standards Able to work independently Operate and maintain field monitoring equipment Possess initiative and motivation, specifically for completing projects and/or deliverables on time Possess technical and problem-solving skills, and commitment to consistently perform high quality work  Requirements: Possess Professional Geologist (PG) certification Bachelor’s degree in geological engineering or geology Able to lift up to 70 pounds 3-5 years in environmental consulting or other related field Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong Microsoft Office skills Since 1991, Weaver Consultants Group has built its reputation on three pillars: exceptional client service, strong project leadership, and smart business management.
