Senior Accountant

Job Details: Job Location: CO HQ - Denver, CO, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $85000.00 - $95000.00Salary/year, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Accounting, What you'll doTechnical accounting Own inventory accounting: landed cost, duty and freight accruals, inventory adjustments and reserves. Research and document accounting positions under US GAAP. Maintain the chart of accounts and general ledger integrity in NetSuite.Close and reconciliations Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items. Prepare accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and other non-routine journal entries. Prepare P&L and balance sheet flux analysis for the monthly close package.Reviews and audits Serve as primary contact for the annual review of our financial statements and prepare PBC items. Support sales and use tax audits with technical analysis.Process and controls Write process narratives and close procedures. Help build and test close automations, including AI-based workflows. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required). Active CPA license (required). 3+ years of public or industry accounting experience. Strong US GAAP knowledge, including inventory costing and accruals. NetSuite experience strongly preferred. Consumer products, retail or inventory-heavy industry experience is a plus. You're comfortable being both the technical expert and a hands-on preparer on a small team.Compensation and benefitsSalary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience. This is a full-time, exempt position.
