The position involves rotating 1st and 2nd shift, 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Occasional weekends are needed.The Bar Finishing Laborer position will assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of the bar finishing area. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position requires standing for long periods of time. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols Guide set-up and tooling changes for bar peeling and polishing machinery Maintain material and bar location identifications Maintain strict quality assurance standards and performance Forklift operation Operation/control of band and plate saws Operation of measurement tools including micrometers, roundness gauges, and length measuring devices Operation of bar peeling and bar polishing machinery Manual operation of bar conditioning tools Must be able to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner at all timesQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience helpful but not required.  Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.  Strong attention to safety and quality.  Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.  Willingness to cross-train and learn new tasks.  Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed.
