About the DVT Team Lead role:
Fireye, located in Derry, NH, seeks an energetic, enthusiastic, and fast-paced DVT Team Lead for our Verification and Validation Team. The DVT Team Lead will be a part of a development team for industrial flame safeguard and flame sensing products in our Magnetic Sensor portfolio. The person will lead a team of Test Engineers across multiple sites working on multiple product lines and supporting the evaluation of prototypes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resource management across multiple sites
  • Participating in new product planning: test feasibility, test cost, resource allocation, and scheduling
  • Collaboration with other departments
  • Participate and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Training and mentoring new and existing employees
  • Lead technical improvement and innovation
  • Maintain all lab certifications and support agency site audits
  • Support Quality investigations into product performance issues

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Field (Mechanical, Electrical, Software)
  • 5 years of related experience involving product validation or certification
  • 3+ years of management experience in a product test/verification capacity
  • Knowledge of safety design, development, and test
  • Experience providing data/justification to certified bodies (UL or similar) for product certification
  • Experience creating test process, procedures, and reports
  • Experience working in an ISO certified organization
  • Experience supporting product release into a factory environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience with validation of high volume product lines
  • Experience with test automation
  • Experience with industrial heating/cooling/HVAC
