Children & Youth Services’ Karasik and Family, Infant & Child Care Center has vacancies for full-time Child Care Teachers interested in working in a unique, fully inclusive Child Care Center supporting preschool children with special health care needs and disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of the classroom program.

Immediate Openings

1. Full-Time PreK Associate Teacher

• Pay Rate: $21.07 – $22.14/hr (depending on education and experience)
  Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma plus CDA and one year of relevant experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift and carry independently up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to withstand prolonged standing/walking and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing

2. Full-Time Infant Associate Teacher

• Pay Rate: $21.07 – $22.14/hr (depending on education and experience)
  Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma plus CDA and one year of relevant experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift and carry independently up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to withstand prolonged standing/walking and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing

3. Full-Time Child Care Teacher

• Pay Rate: $24.44 – $25.68/hr (depending on education and experience)
  Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development; or high school diploma plus 60 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development..
  • One year of relevant experience.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical examination and TB testing.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English and have a good understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to lift and carry independently up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing or walking, and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.
