The Engineering Specialist will report to the Engineering Specialist Supervisor.

Job Summary

The Engineering Specialist will have expertise in various engineering and project management techniques and methods and will fulfill multiple roles throughout the lifespan of a project including drawing design and review, project oversight, and manufacturing support. The Engineering Specialist will provide expertise in service to our customers and all of our various functional departments

Responsibilities and Duties

Fabricate various sets of drawing packages utilizing technical skills and engineering processes.
Review drawings to ensure alignment to specification and design and ensure drawings conform to the highest industry standards of quality.
Provide technical expertise for engineering support, project management, and fabrication.
Perform a variety of tasks to support our projects and ensure they are delivered to our customer on time and on budget.
Work with and contribute in a team environment of other specialists, support staff, and engineering.

Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Post-high school education preferred.
Proficient computer skills with experience with Windows-based computer, spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office software applications.
Proficient with CAD programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Ability to learn new skills and work in a team setting.
Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer
Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
Daily exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards
