POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Treasury Operations Analyst will support a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business. The successful Analyst must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while accommodating enhancements to the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.

  • Perform daily liquidity management processes supporting operations and investment activity by working collaboratively with Banks, Global Atlantic’s Investment Team, Third Party Administrators (TPA), Risk Management, and Accounts Payable
  • Perform daily review of forecast items, working closely with internal teams on changes or updates which could impact liquidity reporting
  • Oversee/Support core daily activity including accounting, cash reconciliations, operational reporting, and bank account management
  • Review and develop analyses, trending reports, and identify deviations from the norm
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 2 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations Role
  • Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. treasury workstations, bank web portals) a strong plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strongly required
  • Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives
  • Prior experience supporting financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
  • Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues
  • Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

$60,000—$90,000 USD
