CO-OP PROGRAM FORMAT:

This co-op program will follow an in-person model. Co-ops will be based at CTC – Auburn Hills, Michigan along with Assembly Plants in Michigan and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week during work rotations. Co-ops will rotate aligned with the Kettering University co-op schedule. Applications are accepted year-round, and co-op cohorts start on a quarterly basis in and co-ops are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

Quality Manufacturing:

A co-op student in an Assembly Plant would typically be placed into one of these areas depending on need:

  • PQE (Plant Quality Engineering)
  • Customer Protection / Audits
  • Certification line quality
  • Metrology
  • Quality Gates / process verification roles
  • Supplier quality support

A co-op student at CTC would typically be placed into one of these areas depending on need:

  • Quality Engineering program tasks
  • Launch quality
  • Quality metrics and dashboards
  • Customer insight / warranty data analysis
  • Quality standards, training, and governance tasks
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Earned high school diploma, GED, or higher degree by June 2026
  • Must be attending or accepted to attend Kettering University in the Co-op program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Prior internship or experience in Quality
  • Exposure to engineering or technical environments is advantageous
  • Strong data analysis capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
