Job Details: Job Location: Dixon Correctional Center - Dixon, IL, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Evening, Job Category: Medical Technician & Support, Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time, Evening Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.Hourly pay rate: $22.77/hour Evening Shift 1P-9PQualifications: High School diploma or equivalent CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required CNA licensure in Illinois required Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
