CCTV TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Work with IP and analogue cameras, NVRs, DVRs, video management systems, monitors, and storage devices.
- Perform cable pulling, termination, labelling, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Configure camera positioning, recording schedules, network settings, and remote monitoring access.
- Diagnose and repair faults related to cameras, cabling, power supplies, storage, and network connectivity.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Read technical drawings, equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications.
- Maintain service records, inspection reports, asset details, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with network, electrical, security, and facilities teams during installation and maintenance.
- Follow site safety procedures and applicable security-system regulations.

Requirements
- Diploma or ITI qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with IP cameras, analogue cameras, NVRs, DVRs, VMS, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics, network switches, PoE, TCP/IP, and basic network configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot camera, cabling, power, recording, and connectivity issues.
- Experience with access-control, intercom, or other ELV systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with major CCTV brands and video management platforms is preferred.
- Qatar or GCC experience and knowledge of Qatar MOI requirements are preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently at project sites.
