Summary:

Arena Events & Venues is seeking an experienced PMO Manager tolead and strengthen project management governance across our portfolio. Therole will provide structure, visibility and consistency across multipleprojects, supporting project teams and leadership with effective reporting,performance monitoring, risk management and continuous improvement.

This is ahands-on role suited to someone who can operate across both strategic andoperational levels, build strong relationships with stakeholders and help embedeffective project management practices within a fast-paced consultingenvironment.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Lead thedevelopment, implementation and ongoing improvement of PMO frameworks,governance processes and project management standards.

• Oversee portfolio-level projecttracking, reporting and performance monitoring, ensuring leadership has clearvisibility of progress, risks and priorities.

• Establish consistent projectreporting, templates, controls and documentation.

• Monitor project milestones, risks,issues and dependencies, working with project teams to support timelyresolution and escalation where required.

• Support effective financial andcommercial oversight of projects in collaboration with Finance and projectleadership.

• Prepare concise portfolio reports,dashboards and presentations for senior management.

• Work closely with Project Directorsand cross-functional teams to support project mobilisation, resource planningand delivery.

• Promote effective use of projectmanagement systems and reporting tools, helping teams adopt consistent ways ofworking.

• Identify opportunities to improveproject delivery processes, systems and governance across the projectlifecycle.

• Capture lessons learned and contributeto the continuous development of PMO capability and best practice.

RequiredQualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business,Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalentprofessional experience.

• Relevant professional projectmanagement certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM or equivalent is desirable.

• Significant experience within projectmanagement, programme management or a PMO environment.

• Experience supporting or overseeingmultiple concurrent projects within a structured governance environment.

• Experience developing or improving PMOprocesses, reporting and project controls.

• Strong commercial awareness andconfidence working with project budgets, forecasts and performance information.

• Experience within consulting, sport,events, infrastructure, major programmes or a similarly fast-paced projectenvironment would be advantageous.

• Experienceworking within the GCC or with international, multi-disciplinary teams would beadvantageous.

• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills in English; Arabic would be advantageous.

Tools& Systems:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint).

• Experience with project planning,portfolio reporting and dashboard tools.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps,Power Automate, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar platforms would beadvantageous.

• Good understanding of common projectdelivery and risk management methodologies, including waterfall, Agile andhybrid approaches.
