Rigger – Marine

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging, lifting, loading, unloading, and material-handling activities.
  
• Assist with mooring and other marine deck operations.
  
• Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, ropes, and lifting accessories before use.
  
• Follow lifting plans, signals, PTW, and HSE procedures.
  
• Coordinate with crane operators, banksmen, and deck crew.
  
• Maintain safe work areas and proper housekeeping.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of rigging experience in marine environments.
  
• Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine projects.
  
• Good knowledge of lifting gear, hand signals, and safe rigging practices.
  
• Familiar with mooring and deck operations.
  
• Valid Rigger / Banksman / Slinger certification preferred.
  
• Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions.
