Rigger Scaffolder – Marine
Responsibilities
- Perform rigging, lifting, scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
- Assist with marine deck operations, loading/unloading, and material handling.
- Inspect lifting gears, scaffolding components, slings, shackles, and tools before use.
- Ensure scaffolds are properly erected, secured, tagged, and safe for access.
- Follow lifting plans, PTW, toolbox talks, and HSE procedures.
- Coordinate with crane operators, banksmen, scaffold supervisors, and deck crew.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of Rigger/Scaffolder experience in marine projects.
- Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine facilities.
- Good knowledge of rigging practices and safe scaffolding erection/dismantling.
- Familiar with lifting equipment, hand signals, and scaffold safety requirements.
- Valid Rigger / Scaffolder / Banksman certification preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions.
