We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Specialist to support a national security mission at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Position Summary

The Senior Administrative Specialist will provide experienced office administration and operational support to Government and program leadership in a classified environment. The successful candidate will apply functional, working, and general industry knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, working independently with some guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level administrative and office management support to Government and program leadership.
  • Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference rooms, attendees, and logistics.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, briefings, and other documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Manage Outlook email accounts, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes; track and route action items to completion.
  • Maintain files, records, and tracking systems in accordance with security and records management requirements.
  • Coordinate travel, visitor access, and onboarding logistics for staff and guests.
  • Support meeting preparation, including agendas, read-ahead materials, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues of moderate scope and complexity, recommending process improvements.
  • Handle sensitive and classified information with discretion and in accordance with established security procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with office administration.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with some guidance and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience providing administrative support within the Intelligence Community or DoD.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or other collaboration tools.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
