The Cybersecurity Task Lead provides senior leadership andoversight for enterprise IT governance, cybersecurity, workforce planning,strategic planning, budgeting, investment management, information security,privacy, and digital accessibility activities.
The position serves as a senior point of contact forleadership and is responsible for coordinating contractor personnel andtechnical activities while ensuring that IT and cybersecurity efforts supportorganizational mission priorities.
The Task Lead must combine CIO-level management experiencewith cybersecurity leadership and the ability to coordinate complex activitiesacross multiple technical teams.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide management and oversightof contractor personnel and assigned CIO-related activities.
- Support implementation andmaintenance of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001,and CMMC, as applicable.
- Oversee cybersecurity riskassessments and vulnerability testing activities.
- Coordinate internal and externalcybersecurity audits and support validation of security controls.
- Coordinate activities amongmultiple project and technical teams.
- Manage cross-team dependencies andidentify resource conflicts.
- Support crisis response duringsignificant cybersecurity incidents, including coordination of detection,containment, recovery, and executive communication.
- Oversee security considerationsassociated with third-party vendors and technology acquisitions.
- Promote a security-firstorganizational culture through cybersecurity awareness, education, andtraining.
- Support enterprise IT strategicplanning and governance.
- Support IT workforce planning anddevelopment.
- Support annual and multi-year ITplanning, programming, and budgeting activities.
- Support IT investment management,portfolio analysis, and assessment of technology resource utilization.
- Support enterprise informationsecurity and privacy governance.
- Promote digital equity andaccessibility of information and communications technologies.
- Provide senior-level status, risk,and decision support to Government and contractor leadership.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencein IT leadership and accountability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencein IT strategic planning.
- Minimum of 5 years of experienceassessing IT workforce requirements and developing workforce strategies orplans.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencesupporting IT budgeting, including annual or multi-year planning, programming,or budgeting activities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencein IT investment management, including evaluating and assessing the managementand utilization of IT resources.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencein information security and privacy, including establishing, implementing,managing, or assessing enterprise information security programs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiencesupporting digital equity or accessibility of information and communicationstechnologies.
- Demonstrated experiencecoordinating complex activities across multiple technical or project teams.
- Demonstrated ability tocommunicate with senior Government and contractor leadership.
- Experience operating in a CIO,Deputy CIO, CISO, or comparable enterprise technology leadership organization.
- Experience with federal ITgovernance, cybersecurity, risk management, and technology investmentprocesses.
- Experience with NIST cybersecurityframeworks, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
- Experience managing cybersecurityincidents or enterprise-level cyber risk.
- Experience supporting classifiedIT environments.
