Technical Writer L2

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Technical Writer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. 

• The Technical Writer L2 is responsible for the preparation,review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software andsystems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Writesand edits technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware andsoftware to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation.
  
• Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides andend-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and dataflow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technicaldrawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other availableresources.
  
  
• This Technical Task Order (TTO) provides, but is not limited to,High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) Integrated Operations Center (HIOC)documentation support, process and system documentation support, configurationmanagement support, process support, and training support, to include HCSObusiness process training and foreign partner system training courses. 
  
  
• Candidatemust be a "power user" in the following applications: MicrosoftPowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Jira andConfluence. 
  
  

Requirements

• Six (6) years experience as a Technical Writer inprograms and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity isrequired. 
  
• Candidate must be proficient in the following applications: MicrosoftPowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Jira and Confluence.
  

Required Degree:

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college oruniversity is required.  Four additional years of TW experience may besubstituted for a bachelor's degree.
