Lenape Valley Foundation’s newest program, the Bright Path Center, is seeking dependable and hands‑on Facilities Maintenance Associates (Porters) to support the daily operation and upkeep of our facility. In this multifaceted role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and well‑functioning environment through routine maintenance, environmental services, and grounds support, while also assisting with scheduled transportation needs. Porters play a vital role in ensuring the center operates smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new program from the ground up and contribute directly to the safety, efficiency, and overall readiness of a therapeutic care setting.   We are currently looking for individuals to work part-time on the weekends.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided during work hours)
  • Ability to drive a full-sized van
  • Experience in building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, cosmetic repairs, painting, etc.)
  • Familiarity with smartphones, Microsoft Office applications, email, and mapping tools
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, with or without accommodation

 

 

Your Role

  • Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure a safe and well‑maintained facility 
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all Bright Path Center spaces, supporting a professional and therapeutic environment 
  • Assist with routine inspections and promptly address maintenance or environmental issues as they arise 
  • Provide safe, timely, and professional transportation for individuals served by the program, as scheduled and in accordance with policy 
  • Utilize computer systems to submit and track work orders, document completed tasks, and communicate effectively via email with facilities and program staff
