A leading organisation in Dubai is looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join its CFO Office in Dubai. The role sits at the intersection of finance, project management, business operations and executive reporting, making it particularly suitable for professionals from PMO, finance operations, corporate finance, project finance, strategy or business operations backgrounds.

You will be responsible for bringing together information, monitoring progress, identifying potential challenges and providing leadership with clear, concise and actionable updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the CFO and finance leadership team to coordinate key priorities and business initiatives.
  • Consolidate information from multiple functions and translate it into clear management updates and executive-level reports.
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports, dashboards and management packs for senior leadership.
  • Monitor key projects, initiatives, milestones, deadlines and outstanding actions across the CFO portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Business Development, Technical, Legal, Procurement, HR, IT and other corporate functions to ensure timely delivery of agreed actions.
  • Maintain structured trackers covering project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions.
  • Identify delays, gaps and potential risks and ensure the appropriate stakeholders are engaged for resolution.
  • Support activities relating to corporate finance, project financing and financial close, including coordination of relevant documentation and information.
  • Assist with maintaining project information and digital data rooms for key initiatives.
  • Support audit, compliance and governance activities, including gathering supporting documentation and monitoring closure of outstanding items.
  • Prepare information and materials required for management and committee discussions.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and provide timely escalation where deliverables or decisions are at risk.
  • Contribute to the development of a more structured PMO and portfolio-management approach within the CFO Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5–8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Background in PMO, finance operations, corporate finance, project finance, business operations, strategy or a similar function.
  • Experience supporting senior management, ideally a CFO, Finance Director, CEO or executive leadership team.
  • Strong experience preparing management reports, executive presentations and business dashboards.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience monitoring projects, actions, risks, dependencies and deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • A structured, proactive and analytical approach to work.
